CARSON CITY, Nevada – In November 2021, Dura-Bond announced the 75th anniversary of Dura-Bond Bearing Company. Founded in Palo Alto, California, in 1947, the company moved to Nevada in 1987.
Dura-Bond developed the full round no seam cam bearing after the war for the rebuilding industry. The company also introduced the Powder Metal Valve Seat product line in 1996 for advanced valve seat technology.
Moving forward, Dura-Bond expanded into the transmission product line offering components and kits. The future is in place for “powertrain” to compliment the changing markets.
In addition, Dura-Bond CEO and Chairman Charles Barnett celebrated his 75th birthday and 26 years with Dura-Bond. He also received AERA’s Charles Yount Award earlier in the year.
