Valve guide Core Drill & Reamer question

Any of you guys using the one pass type combination core drill and reamer, instead of a seperate drill then a reamer ? If so how are they working ?

    Thanks,

  2. drill & reamer combo

We have several for years. They work great, and save a lot of time.

    Hey Bill,
I just tried the ones that I got last week and they work slick. A real time saver from drilling them changing to a reamer to finish

I tried on once (from Goodson). It cut the bores .0015" too big. Sent it back. I figured that there is a reason to do it in two steps.

    Tom,
I ordered one from Goodson last week I will certainly let everyone know how it does.

  8. I've been using the one pass time core drill / reamer for 10 years now on our Serdi. Never had any issues. It is alot faster then using our old PH2000 Van Norman machine with the seperate core drill and reamer set-up.
