Objective: Engine Machinist position, utilizing my engine building and re-manufacturing experience and knowledge of technical effects related to bore/stroke, camshaft, push rod to valve, overhead cam, two and four valve, boosted and competition engine alternatives.

Machinist /Technical Consultant 1976 - 2010
Set up and operate CNC machining centers and tooling for align boring, milling, sleeving, fabrication, restoration and repair of castings and forgings.
Contribute to all machine shop dynamics including; block boring, honing, cylinder head work, flywheel and crankshaft grinding, thread and crack repair, press work.
Read blueprints, job orders and obtain technical data for product specifications and failure analysis to determine sequence of operations.
Apply knowledge of engine systems; balancing, blueprinting, street and race technology, research and development, non-destructive testing.
Observe operation of machines and verify conformance of machined pieces to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as; micrometers and gages.
Install replacement parts and upgrades in mechanisms and equipment, adjusting and monitoring controls as needed to assure quality control.
Developed strong skills in manufacturing, purchasing, and customer service, recommend aftermarket, OEM and performance parts to suit application.
Create and implement management policy and procedure, improving shop work flow, adjusting schedules for fluctuating work loads and utilizing resources successfully.
Maintain high standards of excellence and extreme attention to detail.
